Tim Jeffreys Writer

Mia Jaye

Trained as an actress, Mia also writes poetry, directs theatre, is a contemporary dance choreographer, songwriter, top-hole seamstress and tiles her own bathroom walls. She is also a mother to budding actress Charlie (born 2004), lives and works in Manchester and dreams of one day ‘getting into radio plays’.

However, life is supposed to begin at 40, so as a toddler, there’s still time to decide what she wants to do when she grows up!

Mia’s other professional credits include TV, short films, professional voice over for exhibitions and websites, juggling for overpaid businessmen and dancing with Kid Creole and the Coconuts in Zurich. Unofficially.

Don’t ask….

Mia met Tim during her final honours year at the Arden Theatre School in Manchester in 2000.

Josh Cass

Josh emerged on the voiceover scene via a rather unorthodox route: early career choices saw him working as a ground keeper on a Devonshire golf course, a freelance cameraman in Brussels, and a street performer in Granada, Spain.  Eventually, he decided there was nothing for it but to get some solid training behind him.  Four years later, he graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Geology.

Fortunately, throughout this time Josh could be found flexing his vocal chords before paying members of the public, appearing in numerous productions in Bristol and beyond.  Previous roles include Titus in Titus Andronicus, Birdboot in The Real Inspector Hound and Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing (British Touring Shakespeare).  Most recently, Josh took on the central role of Peer in Peer Gynt, great fun except for fact that it was performed mostly in the pouring rain. He is also now a member of theatreDelicatessen and has appeared in their last two shows - A Midsummer Nights Dream and a rare revival of David Hare’s Fanshen.

Josh is delighted to be working with Tim Jeffreys and relishes the challenge brought by each story’s unique atmosphere and voice.  Other recordings by Josh Cass can be found at Listening Books. For voice work Josh is represented by Cutglass Productions.

Klemens Koehring

As a voice actor, Klemens enjoys the challenge and variety of working on a wide range of media genres. With his love for storytelling and his appreciation of the world of the imagination, he relished the opportunity of narrating some of Tim Jeffreys’ intriguing and eerie audiobook tales.

Klemens was born and bred in Germany and received his performing arts training in London, Luton and Singapore. He provides English- and German-language voice-overs including character voices (for feature films, TV dramas, computer games, electronic toys), narrations (for theatre & art events) and voice-overs for television commercials, corporate videos and websites.
